SailTheSea is a new generation GPS driven Platform that allows to locate, secure, control and manage your fleet or yacht at your fingertip. SailTheSea is internet based and can be accessed from any location in the world. It provides secure private access via personalized codes. All this at lowest cost and modern GPS accuracy.

SailTheSea is developed for charter companies that need to manage their fleet of charter boats and provide top security and valuable extra features for their customers, and for the private yacht owner who wants to give his holiday on sea the extra in security and fun.

SailTheSea is powered by state of the art internet and GPS technology. A service team provides service and functionality at top technology level.

SailTheSea is an HETP product in cooperation with ubinam, a location technology company.

Functionalities:

Internet based platform for localisation and identification of boats in international maritime coastal regions Privacy and data security are guaranteed through personalized access codes and state of the art data security mechanisms Global access is provided through internet technology Presentation of geographical data in graphical map and numerical form Geo Maps are provided in map, satellite view and hybrid form Numerical form is in international geographic standards (WGS84) latitude/ longitude and adressform GPS precision GPS Global Positioning System is an international satellite based system to support location calculation by satellite signals around the globe. GPS precision is between 1m to 20m depending on satellite coverage. Localisation on demand or in selected automatic periods On demand via mouse click on the internet tool in your private session, at any time Periods for repetitive tracking can be defined via the SailTheSea tool between 1 min and 3 hours Route tracking/tracing and documentation Routes can be documented in consecutive position tracks and presented in either numerical form or on map Easy entry of geo markers (e.g. home base, help/service stations etc) Entry is done via manual entry or via datafile in adress form or geographical data format. User defined icon management for boat identification Ship name, skipper, tel#, .... user defined details; read by mouse on icon or via list Status presentation via icon colour Boat status is presented via icon colours Green: ok Red: alarm (e.g. geo fence, not available, help button activated, low battery,....) Geo fence function for easy, user driven position control Fence your boat by easy entry of a selectable roaming area, position and width of allowed roaming. Alarms available via our internet tool (red icon colour plus alarm note) or via SMS or email to your specified mobile number or email adress Use this to watch anchor, or control any movements of your boat from any selected position. Activation/Deactivation via internet tool (fence configuration) or via SMS (standard fence configuration: 40m from current position; alarm to set devices plus mobile# sending activation SMS) Fence range from 30m upwards Help button Help button available on request. Press button activates alarm on the internet presentation plus SMS to your specified mobile number.  Reset via tool or SMS. Broadcast SMS function to boat(s) Send via our SailTheSea internet tool SMS messages to selected boat(s). E.g. warnings (weather warnings or other), important messages, news, requests, etc.. Management of fleets up to 500 boats Presentation and management of up tp 500 boats via SailTheSea tool. Family function allows friends & family to see and track/trace boat position as well as status Friends & Family as specified by you are allowed to locate you and your boat and track/trace your route through the sea. Presentation in map format with zooming functions and geographical data format. Family function for selected boat(s) only; e.g. in a fleet of charter boats one boat or a number of boats can be opened up for friends & family This can also be used as Regatta Mode to organise, watch and manage regattas or fun trips of more than one boat Status presentation in Green/Red format Hidden installation We recommend hidden installation of our Hardware in dry areas of your boat. Power supply is requested. Through very small box format and thin cables hidden installation is easy and quickly done. Detailed installation description comes with every set of equipment. Indoor antenna with minimum needs can be mounted easily. See instructions.
